A85: From Sketch to Screen: Costume Designing for Film in Splash Winter 2018 (Feb. 10, 2018)
Examining films from past and present, students will learn the tools to design costumes for film and television. Students will be guided through the creative process, from learning about your character and genre to presenting and pitching your concept.

A29: Fashion Exploration: LA Inspo in Splash Winter 17 (Jan. 28, 2017)
Fashion design is one of the most expressive applications of one’s aesthetics. Unlike most other artistic modes, fashion design literally makes the wearer a part of the art. So why don’t we make some art of our own! I may not be McQueen or Valentino but I can definitely guide you through the design process - from inspiration to sketching to final product. Not only will we be learning more about fashion illustration and the fashion construction process as a whole, we’ll also learn some interesting things about different types of fabrics, stitches, designers and other random fashion facts. Who knows, after this maybe I will be seeing your collections at the next New York Fashion Week.
