Brief Biographical Sketch:

Charlotte received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Music in 2022 from Rollins College in Orlando, Florida. As a first year Cog Psy Ph.D., she is interested in multisensory perception research, with a focus on how we perceive and interact with music and video games. She is also a vocal performer who enjoys Italian Opera and sings in the UCLA Chorale. In her free time, she is an avid player of Dungeons and Dragons and loves all things science fiction and fantasy. She is currently in the process of writing multiple high fantasy and superhero novels, she collects medieval weaponry, and she enjoys learning about Greek and Norse mythology. Her top four most played video games are Skyrim, Sea of Thieves, Hades, and Tomb Raider. Previously, she has tutored in statistics, music theory, psychology, and research paper writing. She has also led numerous workshops on D&D, is currently a teaching assistant for Introductory Psychology, and has experience teaching in a third-grade classroom.

Interested in D&D but don't know where to start? Dungeons & Dragons is a fantasy-themed tabletop game where players create the story together! Often, it can be hard to get started or find the right party. Whether you have been watching Critical Role forever or don't even know what "tabletop" means, this workshop is ideal for all levels of beginners! We will be going over the basics of D&D, make our own characters, and then encounter monsters. May this class empower all young knights, wizards, and heroes to go off and seek their own adventures!
