Brief Biographical Sketch:
Miranda Montenegro is a second-year student at the University of California, Los Angeles, majoring in English and Sociology and minoring in Film, Television and Digital Media. She is involved in the following campus clubs and organizations: UCLA Radio, Film & Photography Society, The Paper Mixtape magazine, Bruin Newsroom and Society of Imperial Valley Bruins. Montenegro’s passion lies in film, having recently produced a short student film titled “Wreck” and attended and reviewed film screenings on behalf of TPM magazine. She hopes to one day be able to teach university students about the history of adolescent films and its influence in both American cinema and society.
